F.E.A.R : Perseus Mandate

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

I really felt sorry for Alma in F.E.A.R, but I love the game …this is one hell of a game and at E3 07 they showed a new expansion pack for F.E.A.R called F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate. I know that the last game “Extraction point” didn’t even add any new weapons to online but just look at this trailer guys it seems to be more freaky than the original game. Let’s hope they add a cool story this time.

Fable 2 captured on trailer

Friday, July 13th, 2007

This a game that the I really long for since I’ve spent all the time in Fable-The lost chapters with chicken kicken and flirting with the guys …yes actually even the guys got the big, pink heart above their head when I charmed them … Seriously though, Fable- The lost chapters was a good game, but I truly believe that Fable 2, with the cool dog companion, will be the best RPG ever.
And kindly enough IGN now reveals Molyneux’s demonstration of the game Fable 2 from E3.

In the video he shows some of the new features in the game, and gives a rundown of the ambitious title, and the revamped combat system

Some OS have trouble with this video, if it doesnt show click here!

Marcus is comming to PC

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Ladies and Gent’s here’s a cool trailer from Cliffy Bs Gears of Wars for (drums please) PC! Yes it’s confirmed by Microsoft that Gears of War is comming to Windows VISTAHow long have we been waiting for this one?

I played it on my Xbox 360 but this must be shooter heaven, and the best part is you can play together with a friend, boyfriend or whatever. Examples of what Epic will add to the PC version are an editor and new content like five new chapters to make a more complete story, new multiplayer mode, arenas, achievements, and you can fight the huge Brumak as shown below.

More from the China Town Nukem …

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

Oh, so I had to follow the Duke nukem story up, the guy at mygen.com actually bought the box and inside it there was …well no one really expected the pure Duke Nukem forever copy right …but still there was just a straight pirate. “What makes this “Duke Nukem Forever” though is the second disc this package comes with…

mygendnf2.jpgmygendnf3.jpg

The disc is actually labeled “Duke Nukem Forever” but unfortunately doesn’t contain any games under this name. The disc oddly contains an “International Standard Book Number” (ISBN for short) printed on the front. As the disc loads on the PC, a small video plays of a logo from what I assume is the company who put it together. After that a front-end completely in Chinese comes up.”

But luckily enough someone got tired of that and finally finished the game …. and released the product to store shelves.

It’s unknown how the game plays, or what is even on the disc.

Pandora’s Box Opens in ‘08 - Debut Trailer of Legendary: The Box

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

This game gives the term “professional-thief” a new definition. In this game we meet Charles Deckard. Charles is a thief and a good one at that.

He doesn’t ask questions of his clients; what they want, he steals. But Deckard is a curious fellow and when he’s tasked with stealing an ornate box from a New York museum, he can’t resist taking a peak inside. They say curiosity killed the cat; this time it may just kill all of humanity. Turns out, Deckard opened Pandora’s Box creating a portal that brings a flood of mythological creatures into New York. By the time Deckard escapes the cracked the crumbling museum, the streets of Manhattan are in total chaos. This is how Gamecock’s newest title, Legendary: The Box, begins.

I’m sure much of the readership surely will be interested in this game. This video gives you a quite good impression of “The Box”, so you might want to take a look at this one.

Hitman turns into an evilhunting Rambo in new Movie

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

Gamestar spoke to Timothy Olyphant and director Xavier Gens about their big screen adaptation of the popular video game Hitman.

I like Timothy as an actor. but I think Jason Statham would suit better for agent 47 (I said that before there were even plans to shoot this film :p) Olyphant looks a bit like a dude with cancer when he’s bald :p I still think it’s going to be an good movie..
Yes, Rest in Peace, he is an Assassin! Ultimate” fan? That’s a bold statement to make while supporting a movie that makes 47 look like Rambo. What the hell? They just turned Agent 47 into a comic hero. Strike down evil? He strikes down anyone with a dollar sign above his head!

If you haven’t seen it yet, the trailer for the “Hitman” movie, which has sparked a lot interest among gamers who yearn for good video game-inspired films.

I am not such a huge fan of games turning into movies, even if I really Liked Silent Hill and doom. And watching this trailer from Hitman the Movie makes me wonder why people can’t just let the games rest in peace and not turn them in to bloody movies…Its bad enough that we turn every movie into another poor game. Actually I am also not really found of Timothy Olyphant into role of Agent 47. Somehow I don’t like the fact that they turned Agent 47 into a comic hero.

They say Agent 47 strikes down evil, nut that’s not really true is it? I mean from what I know Agent strikes down anyone and anything with a dollar sign above hit’s head!
Anyway Gamestar spoke to Timothy Olyphant and director Xavier Gens about their big screen adaptation of the popular video game “Hitman.”:

“When I read the script I didn’t immediately think of a game. It reminded me more of the John Woo films, or of Luc Besson’s “The Professional” or the Korean “Bittersweet Life,” said Olyphant.

Inspired by Asian action movies, Gens added that violence will be the main focus of the movie.

“I gave the Hitman a dirty image. In the game, Hitman is an asshole, I wanted to keep that in the movie. It’s about an evil man fighting against other evil men,” Gens said. “I wanted really true and dirty violence - from splashing blood to broken arms.” “

Anyone else think that’s its sad that they made Agent 47 look like Rambo. …
Very well, at least we don’t have Uwe Ball making the movie …so there must be a God somewhere …
