Look at Just Cause 2

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

This is hot stuff … And I mean really hot such stuff. Even though I couldn´t see myself playing Just Cause for so long as I should (Since it developed here in Sweden) I really think you should have a look at what CVG is offering in screenies from the upcoming sequel …
Brutal Legend is just plain weird and now Just Cause 2 adds spies and acrobatics to the army of games knocking on GTA’s open-play door.

Screenies straight from Arthas …

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Blizzard has released four new images of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, the upcoming second expansion for the MMORPG, following The Burning Crusade. It is set in the land of Northrend, home of the Lich King, Arthas.

Players last visited Northrend in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, when Arthas Menethil fused with the spirit of Ner’zhul to become the Lich King, one of the most powerful beings in the Warcraft universe. He now broods atop the Frozen Throne deep in Icecrown Citadel, clutching the rune blade Frostmourne and marshaling the undead armies of the Scourge. In Wrath of the Lich King, the forces of the Alliance and the Horde will venture into battle against the Scourge amid Northrend’s howling winds and fields of jagged ice.

With the opening of the Dark Portal, and the renewed war to stop the Burning Crusade’s destruction of worlds, the heroes of Azeroth have given little thought to the frozen wastes of Northrend - and the terrible, ancient powers that wait there. Yet the brooding evils of the fallen Nerubian empire and their malevolent sover

Ghostbusters: First Screenshot

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Ghostbusters is comming to town and for your amuzement Gamesradar captured the very first image.

If you haven’t already, give your nostalgia gland a check it out.

About the game then … Well, the team is back together, with original actors Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson lending their voices, likenesses etc. In fact, Akroyd and Ramis are writing the story for the game, which will be set in New York during the early ’90s. And even if I dont´really like License games, I will probably have a look at this one. Meanwhile if you need a good game …hellgate London is the shit!

The club is not only an Urban Legend …

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

For most people, The Club exists only as an urban legend – a game where criminals are paid huge amounts to carry out gunfights and where online spectators view, gamble and cheer them on in a deadly game of skill. Yet the rumours are true. People are getting rich. People are dying. The first task is to survive, but according to their rules - quickly, relentlessly and with style…

Players choose between eight unique fighters, each with their own combat style and agendas, as they travel the globe in a series of visceral urban battlefields. In addition to a variety of single-player scenarios, The Club boasts an array of multiplayer options to satisfy even the most discerning action aficionado.

Here are some new screenshots of The Club, the third-person shooter by Bizarre Creations.

Gears of wars Screenies

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

This is probably the gaming worlds worst kept secret ever. You know that Gears of War is coming to PC. Well who doesn’t know since some smart ass set the PC box out at the Xbox stand at some fair last year …you know by the same time when Microsoft told us this is Xbox 360 exclusive …

Anyway this is one of the co-op game that can really satisfy your girlfriend >>

Today it s looking slightly prettier than in the xbob 360 version but what is more interesting is how good the inside of the package looks.

Anyway the undoubtedly biggest selling point for Gears fans is the new single-player content. There are five new campaign chapters in all fitting into the beginning of Gear’s final act. And, if you wonder: Yes!!! you finally get to fight the giant Brumak, which was shamefully cut from the Xbox 360 version.

This is Marcus at his really best and just for you I have got some awesome new Gears of War shots from the PC-version. Look at these little babies, you cant wait to fight the Brumak …admit it

And if you simply cant wait for Marus, you can always listen to him …or something

Postal III on screen

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

Sometimes I don’t even know why I am writing about this. Postal isn’t really something you want to give your kids, right? The developers (and fans) claims that Postal III is a game about free will. I certainly hope that if what’s going on in Postal is a common will amongst the human race that we consider developing some pills for that

POSTAL III is supposed to be a dark comedic third-person action. But that is really a twisted sense of humour to rip someone’s head of and piss in his neck … I might be to old but I never got it.
The game will feature the Postal Dude exploring fictionally scenic Catharsis, AZ, interacting with evil nuns and the Taliban as he follows one of three paths: The Good, The Bad, and Insane. The game also promises cameos from real life ’stars’ from film and music personalities to Playboy Playmates. So far for me the only really enticing information here is that the game will feature a weapon called the Chain Scythe.

Key Features: -Choose between three ways to play through the game: The Good, The Bad, and Insane.
-Interact with numerous NPC factions, powered by reactive AI and complex behaviour.
-Fusion of linear story-driven missions and huge free-roaming areas.
-Features wide array of real-life celebrities: from Playboy Playmates to film stars and musicians.
-The game is being developed on Source TM Engine by Valve for Xbox 360 and PC.

Anyway Postal 3 developer has launched a Postal 3 section on their website, featuring game information and some screens (below) that I will post here so you don’t really have to visit the page at all.

Warhound …for you master

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

What is a warhound? Well in this particular case a warhound is an ex Delta-Force operative … Allright I am just playing with the worlds, had a huge computer crash today so I need to cheer myself up. Anyway I give you some new screenies from Warhound the open-ended First-Person Shooter (FPS) set in modern times. In Warhound, you’ll complete a variety of challenging missions in battlefields around the world, while later uncovering a massive terrorist plot that targets the United States and thousands of its citizens.

Warhound focuses on complete freedom of choice, and as such, you will have unprecedented opportunities to pick your missions, weapons, battlefield tactics and vehicles.
Have we heard this before? Oh yes … but still here are some nice screenies just for your pleasure ….

Secret Id game …on screen

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

You know that God …sorry John Carmack, recently showed the world his new engine. It looked pretty nice but we haven’t heard anything about the new game jet.

But what is the new game? It’s a first person shooter. Why do I think that? Well simply because Id sad that they will only develop games in that genre …
We also know that John Carmack and the rest of the Doom crew are working on an all-new IP for the PC, Macintosh, and next-generation consoles.

Beyond this, there is no information … no rumors - absolutely nothing that could possibly help us guess what the new IP is… All we have is the video of the engine and some new screenshots.
