PCgames.de are reporting about an new unannounced Next-Gen RPG made by Spellbound. You guys know the studio that made Gothic 1, Gothic 2, and Gothic III. And therefore the new RPG has been mistaken as Gothic 4, but a JoWooD forum moderator has pointed out that’s not the case. For now, it’s a mystery RPG in work for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Richard A. Knaak Hints Diablo III Again

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Last time we heard about it, Blizzard sad it will be no diablo III. Recently Blizzplanet interviewed Richard A. Knaak. He was in Slovakia at Istrocon. Richard A. Knaak is a well known novel writer and in the interview he discussed details of the last part of Diablo: The Sin War trilogy. Also (thank you God!) he reaffirmed his opinion that Diablo 3 could be in the works.

When Kazo asked Knaak if he had Diablo 3 character.

Knaak chuckled and sad: A … DIABLO 3 !!!…. Character? I can’t say anything.

I am also happy to announce that more novels based on Diablo are planned through 2008-2009, and not just from Knaak, but also, according to him, from other writers.

On the World of Warcraft side, Knaak confirms World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon and the Burning Crusade Manga, both expected on 2008, will lay the path to the events that lead to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack with Rhonin becoming leader of the Wizards of Dalaran to rally against Malygos - Dragon Aspect of Magic. Malygos will be a 25-man raid dungeon boss. Watch the video interview for more.

Knaak, who was very disappointed that Blizzard didn’t, announced a Diablo III at Blizzcon 2007 is not sure if he will write any more Diablo. Since he just finished Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy, which introduces the groundwork for the Diablo.

He says that at this moment it is at a stage too early to say what, but he hopes to continue working with Diablo. He, and I thinks that the Diablo world still have much to give, even if its old it is still a very popular world, and there’s still much to explore.

King’s Bounty: The Legend - E3 2007 Trailer

Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

The E3 07 videos never stop coming … well I found a goodie here. Have you ever playgames like Heroes of Might and Magic, Disciples, and Age of Wonders? You might even know that the precursor of the game was Kings Bounty?

Well talking about Kings Bounty and E3 07 …here is a trailer from the remake or sequel of the original King’s Bounty that came out 17 years ago. The original King’s Bounty was released in 1990 (by the now-defunct New World Computing) and blends RPG adventure, real-time exploration with turn-based tactical combat.

Fable 2 captured on trailer

Friday, July 13th, 2007

This a game that the I really long for since I’ve spent all the time in Fable-The lost chapters with chicken kicken and flirting with the guys …yes actually even the guys got the big, pink heart above their head when I charmed them … Seriously though, Fable- The lost chapters was a good game, but I truly believe that Fable 2, with the cool dog companion, will be the best RPG ever.
And kindly enough IGN now reveals Molyneux’s demonstration of the game Fable 2 from E3.

In the video he shows some of the new features in the game, and gives a rundown of the ambitious title, and the revamped combat system

Mythos Open beta

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

According to Worthplaying.com Flagship studios now have open their beta accounts for ‘Mythos’.
Mythos is an online, action RPG that is free to download and free to play. Flagship announced that the closed beta test is now open, and people interested in joining can click here.

I personally hope that since most of the Flagship studio personnel is from formal Blizzard north that Mythos could be the game that we all sure long for (Diablo III) but judging by the pictures it doesn’t seem like that

London. Mythos will be digitally distributed in North America and Europe in 2007

Pandora’s Box Opens in ‘08 - Debut Trailer of Legendary: The Box

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

This game gives the term “professional-thief” a new definition. In this game we meet Charles Deckard. Charles is a thief and a good one at that.

He doesn’t ask questions of his clients; what they want, he steals. But Deckard is a curious fellow and when he’s tasked with stealing an ornate box from a New York museum, he can’t resist taking a peak inside. They say curiosity killed the cat; this time it may just kill all of humanity. Turns out, Deckard opened Pandora’s Box creating a portal that brings a flood of mythological creatures into New York. By the time Deckard escapes the cracked the crumbling museum, the streets of Manhattan are in total chaos. This is how Gamecock’s newest title, Legendary: The Box, begins.

I’m sure much of the readership surely will be interested in this game. This video gives you a quite good impression of “The Box”, so you might want to take a look at this one.

First trailer from Rise of the Argonauts

Friday, June 29th, 2007

Guys …it’s Friday and I give you the first trailer of Codemasters upcoming gladiatorial adventure. Damn … Liquid Entertainment has made a huge scale action-RPG and it is scheduled to launch in 2008 for Games for Windows and major console platforms.

With deep exploration and epic quests, players will take the role of Jason, King of Iolchis, and battle alongside iconic mythological heroes including Hercules, Achilles, Atalanta and other well known mythological figures.

As Jason grows from young king to true legend, set sail aboard the Argo and explore the vast Aegean – a dynamic world of islands filled with shining cities, lush jungles and deep forests.

Gamers will leave their mark on ancient Greece as they engage in heart-pumping, lethal, blood-spurting combat against hordes of enemy warriors, ruthless beasts and truly formidable mythological creatures.

I really fell in Love with Kratos in God of War. I taught nothing could beet that game so I can only pray that this game will give me what I need too. But this video looks nice …doesn’t it?

Hellgate trailer

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

This is a game I really look forward to and I hope I wont be disappointed since the hype is so huge … I mean after all this is a game from the guys at formal Blizzard North so I guess this will be a very nice game experience …

This is a new video preview from Bill Roper’s Hellgate London and here you’ll find a profile on the Cabalist faction’s two classes, the Evoker and the Summoner.
These guys are the more magic-focused classes and while they’re more than happy to take up conventional weapons in the course of battle, they also like to cast more destructive spells and summon in the enemy’s own friends to do their bidding.
