Since Gears of war is one of my favorite games and to celebrate that its now coming to PC I have to give you this soundboard from the game.

The Gears soundboard features multiplayer and campaign quotes from the Locusts and the COG killing crew including Marcus, Dom, Baird, Cole and Carmine. Experience a locust growl, hear the ear pleasing sounds of Baird exclaim “shit yeah!” and the multiple variations of Marcus’ “nice”.

Gears music soon

Well, what’s going on here? I know this is not PC gaming …but hey it’s gaming and Microsoft …sort of! Erh It’s Gears of War damn it and everybody should know this.

If you didn’t play Gears of War it’s about time and if you play it … damn you should probably take a look at this. Not that I can think of anyone that will pay attention to the music in this nice looking game …but if you did you sure know that is awesome too.

Lucky for all of us GOW lovers there will be a CD of the game’s score released on July 31 Composed by Kevin Riepl, it’ll feature all the hits you know and love like “Fill ‘Er Up At Chaps”, “I Will Kryll You” and “Train Ride To Hell”.

Don’t recognize game music huh?

OMG …You might be one of those persons that play a lot of games and doesn’t even know a damn thing about the music … because believe it or not, the average person doesn’t know a damn thing about video game music.

Anyway a brand new charity CD, GAME, plans to introduce this music to the masses while simultaneously donating 20% of the profits to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

It’s a 10 minute medley of Final Fantasy music, and it’s just one of 18 tracks on the GAME CD, releasing this weekend. For a mere 10 bucks you get 18 songs from games like Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy VII, plus a few anime goodies such as InuYasha. Shipping is free.
