Richard A. Knaak Hints Diablo III Again

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Last time we heard about it, Blizzard sad it will be no diablo III. Recently Blizzplanet interviewed Richard A. Knaak. He was in Slovakia at Istrocon. Richard A. Knaak is a well known novel writer and in the interview he discussed details of the last part of Diablo: The Sin War trilogy. Also (thank you God!) he reaffirmed his opinion that Diablo 3 could be in the works.

When Kazo asked Knaak if he had Diablo 3 character.

Knaak chuckled and sad: A … DIABLO 3 !!!…. Character? I can’t say anything.

I am also happy to announce that more novels based on Diablo are planned through 2008-2009, and not just from Knaak, but also, according to him, from other writers.

On the World of Warcraft side, Knaak confirms World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon and the Burning Crusade Manga, both expected on 2008, will lay the path to the events that lead to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack with Rhonin becoming leader of the Wizards of Dalaran to rally against Malygos - Dragon Aspect of Magic. Malygos will be a 25-man raid dungeon boss. Watch the video interview for more.

Knaak, who was very disappointed that Blizzard didn’t, announced a Diablo III at Blizzcon 2007 is not sure if he will write any more Diablo. Since he just finished Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy, which introduces the groundwork for the Diablo.

He says that at this moment it is at a stage too early to say what, but he hopes to continue working with Diablo. He, and I thinks that the Diablo world still have much to give, even if its old it is still a very popular world, and there’s still much to explore.

Cool cake … from Vice City …

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Check out this cool GTA cake, I found it on Kotaku.com

The only thing that’s missing is some mad old women with handbags and a lot of blood.

It’s a cool cake, but for a four year old it’s kind of questionable, don’t you think?

Ten ways to satisfy your girlfriend …

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

Here are 10 of the best ways to make your girlfriend happy. Some guys have listed the top ten co-op games here >>

8.jpg

The guys have done a huge mistake though …
They put Halo before Gears of war… that’s unforgivable …
In GoW Two-players can blast through the cool game environment ever in the hottest first-person shooter made …

And …the best part is … that unlike Halo, co-op isn’t just two people playing through some poor sci-fi environment … (NO I don’t think Halo is the greatest game ever, it’s not!!! Damn it … Half-life is!). Anyway …if you want to satisfy your girl …Gears of war is the way to go …muscles …antiheroes and o come on …you know it’s all that ….I can feel your desire for Marcus Fenix trough my computer ….

With retailer breaking the BioShock street date, some lucky bastards have picked up the game, you got to hate them, sure you do … and just to tempt you a little more here is a video showing a glitch in the BioShock demo that lets players jump through glass and walk underwater.
I’m going to have to go try this. …

The game will be in stores the 21th of August …it’s less than a week guys so patience …

And here is what 2K Australia Ken Levine says about the game:

First of all, it’s really one of those games where you’ll want to save often — not because you die constantly, but because you’re going to want to replay rooms to try things a different way.

Jesus goes Second life

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Jesuits See the Potential of Second Life
AT CNets News.com they tell us that it’s not just universities, police departments, and businesses who see Second Life as a potential recruiting ground: the Society of Jesus, that rather controversial order of the Catholic Church better known as the Jesuits, are being urged by one of their own to head into virtual territory to facilitate real-life spirituality.

In the Italian Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica, “Antonio Spadaro urged fellow Catholics not to be scared of entering the virtual world, which may be fertile ground for new converts wishing to better themselves.” Despite the inclusion of “the erotic dimension” and people who no doubt would prefer to escape the real world, not be converted, Spadaro feels that the virtual world is just a new frontier for missionary work:

Listen to Marcus …that’s nice

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Since Gears of war is one of my favorite games and to celebrate that its now coming to PC I have to give you this soundboard from the game.

The Gears soundboard features multiplayer and campaign quotes from the Locusts and the COG killing crew including Marcus, Dom, Baird, Cole and Carmine. Experience a locust growl, hear the ear pleasing sounds of Baird exclaim “shit yeah!” and the multiple variations of Marcus’ “nice”.

Geek gaming doesn’t get any better than this. Listen here!

MMO nutcase creates guild by himself

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

You think you are a nutcase when it comes to MMO gaming?
At Gaminggadgets there is some pictures of how, one gamer (and his girlfriend) decided to take on the responsibilities of an entire World of Warcraft guild themselves.

untitled-1.jpg

“Gaze upon the 47 PC setup that allows two gamers to simultaneously control 23 independent accounts each.

This technological monstrosity was constructed in waves, consisting first of Shuttle systems, followed by QPack and later AOpen small form factor PCs. To cut back on heat and the massive electric bill, most machines are diskless (i.e. no hard drive) and aren’t connected directly to monitors. Instead, programmable keyboards with KVM switches allow the duo to monitor and control everything from their six-monitor twin thrones. “
