Top Ten Most Badass Weapons in Gaming History

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

You know the man of men … Kratosfrom God of war and God of War II ? You will then know that he is not a nice guy.

His hobbies are killing everything from barbarians to his family …

But this battle-hardened Ghost of Sparta would be nothing without his weapons of choice. Without his Blades, Kratos would have just been more cannon fodder for the gods. With them, he became a god who defied Olympus itself.

DICE abandons FPS?

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

As you guys probably know the Swedish developer Digital Illusions are working on a humoristic FPS game only for the consol market. Now, however in the latest issue of Edge it reveals that DICE’s new title (mirror’s edge) is not a First Person shooter.

Instead, influenced heavily by parkour, they’re calling it a first-person action adventure.
faith.jpg
Huge levels will allow you the same kind of free-form exploration and athletic tomfoolery as for instance Prince of Persia but in first-person.
Instead of your character being just a floating camera, like most other FPS games, your whole body is an object in Mirror’s Edge. Your legs, arms and torso are visible, allowing you to judge your leaps, handholds and shimmys and gins will only have a minor role in the game. The main persons name is Faith and yes it is a girl … maybe DICE is tring to take the first place before Miss croft?
If they will succeed we will se when Mirror’s edge hits the shelves.
