Gears of wars Screenies

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

This is probably the gaming worlds worst kept secret ever. You know that Gears of War is coming to PC. Well who doesn’t know since some smart ass set the PC box out at the Xbox stand at some fair last year …you know by the same time when Microsoft told us this is Xbox 360 exclusive …

Anyway this is one of the co-op game that can really satisfy your girlfriend >>

Today it s looking slightly prettier than in the xbob 360 version but what is more interesting is how good the inside of the package looks.

Anyway the undoubtedly biggest selling point for Gears fans is the new single-player content. There are five new campaign chapters in all fitting into the beginning of Gear’s final act. And, if you wonder: Yes!!! you finally get to fight the giant Brumak, which was shamefully cut from the Xbox 360 version.

This is Marcus at his really best and just for you I have got some awesome new Gears of War shots from the PC-version. Look at these little babies, you cant wait to fight the Brumak …admit it

And if you simply cant wait for Marus, you can always listen to him …or something

Downgrade Vista to XP

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Microsoft is doing the unthinkable … when they enabling Windows Vista haters to downgrade to Windows XP.
OMG can this be really true you say … well yes not that
Microsoft is actively promoting the offering, but they have clearly conceded that some customers need to have XP.
This offers purchasers of business-orientated laptops with Vista Business or Ultimate editions installed the chance to get hold of a recovery disc containing the older OS.

Richard A. Knaak Hints Diablo III Again

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Last time we heard about it, Blizzard sad it will be no diablo III. Recently Blizzplanet interviewed Richard A. Knaak. He was in Slovakia at Istrocon. Richard A. Knaak is a well known novel writer and in the interview he discussed details of the last part of Diablo: The Sin War trilogy. Also (thank you God!) he reaffirmed his opinion that Diablo 3 could be in the works.

When Kazo asked Knaak if he had Diablo 3 character.

Knaak chuckled and sad: A … DIABLO 3 !!!…. Character? I can’t say anything.

I am also happy to announce that more novels based on Diablo are planned through 2008-2009, and not just from Knaak, but also, according to him, from other writers.

On the World of Warcraft side, Knaak confirms World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon and the Burning Crusade Manga, both expected on 2008, will lay the path to the events that lead to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack with Rhonin becoming leader of the Wizards of Dalaran to rally against Malygos - Dragon Aspect of Magic. Malygos will be a 25-man raid dungeon boss. Watch the video interview for more.

Knaak, who was very disappointed that Blizzard didn’t, announced a Diablo III at Blizzcon 2007 is not sure if he will write any more Diablo. Since he just finished Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy, which introduces the groundwork for the Diablo.

He says that at this moment it is at a stage too early to say what, but he hopes to continue working with Diablo. He, and I thinks that the Diablo world still have much to give, even if its old it is still a very popular world, and there’s still much to explore.

Is EA making a new Command & Conquer FPS?

Friday, September 21st, 2007

69026_hs.jpg

If you guys remember as way back as in 2002, you will probably remember that by then Electronic Arts introduced a first-person shooter spin-off of its popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy series.

That thing was developed by Westwood Studios, Command & Conquer Renegade received respectable reviews, but plans for a sequel were scrapped, and within a year.

Now it appears Electronic Arts may be ready to take a crack at making a first-person shooter set in the universe that is if a job posting on EA’s own employment site is to be believed.

Cool cake … from Vice City …

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Check out this cool GTA cake, I found it on Kotaku.com

The only thing that’s missing is some mad old women with handbags and a lot of blood.

It’s a cool cake, but for a four year old it’s kind of questionable, don’t you think?
